Special visit in Sliedrecht

At the factory Size Feeling Home 322 wooden Finch residential modules are currently being produced for the project Pasteur Street in Haarlem. We had the honor of welcoming about 30 colleagues from the Rijksvastgoedbedrijf for a behind-the-scenes look at modular wood construction in practice.
Among the attendees: structural experts, (fire) technical and cost specialists, architects and consultants - all with an interest in wood construction within the central government.

An inspiring presentation by Jurrian Knijtijzer on Finch Buildings and the power of modular timber construction was followed by an interactive workshop with propositions. Experiences were exchanged, we learned from each other and tips were shared to apply modular timber construction more often, also within the state.
The afternoon ended with a tour of the factory: from station to station we discovered the construction process of our solid wood residential modules. From construction to finishing - everything was covered.
