KonderWessels Vastgoed submitted a tender for the circular project Sample in the Amsterdam district of Buiksloterham.

Finch Buildings' modular wood building system was selected by developer KondorWessels to work with designers Space&Matter, Mecanoo and ZUS to design three building blocks where solid wood plays a central role.

Part of the plan includes 357 free sector owner-occupied housing units, mid-rent housing units and social housing units. In addition, a circular hub and a productivity plot are part of the concept.

A wonderful project in which we worked closely with the project architects to demonstrate the possibilities and flexibility of modular wood construction.
