In the municipality of Leiden, there was a need to accommodate a mixed group of home-seekers, whether they were small family groups or single people. The houses will initially be built for ten years, spread over three locations. The municipality undertakes to designate a new temporary or permanent location for the dwellings after this period.

The project contains 16 homes and was realized by De Groot Vroomshoop in collaboration with Loohuis Installatietechniek. Housing corporation Ons Doel is the client.

In September 2020, the residential units received a new use at Fruinlaan/Leiden. After a short stop at the Wernin site, the units were installed in just two days. They were then connected to water, electricity and sewerage in a few weeks and prepared for rental. Since November 2020, the units have been back in use.
