Finch, Heijmans and NEZZT together on the breach for relocatable housing

Finch buildings, Hagen One and NEZZT (The Seagull), three large producers of movable dwellings, have joined forces. The builders find that there are still too many bottlenecks for the realization of movable dwellings, while these types of housing can make a good contribution to circular housing.

For example, the builders find that there is still a lot of ambiguity about the building permit. If you move the house after ten years, will there be a new building permit? Many parties do not know that. That is why Finch buildings, Hagens One and Nezzt are of the opinion that the Government must establish clear rules here. "We advise the Empire to arrange for a new bouwbesluit test to be requested at every move. The original quality requirements should also apply when relocating a dwelling. This makes these types of dwellings a lot more attractive, explains Thijs Lara, spokesman for the collective.

Offered for in transition agenda construction

The three builders have formulated this advice, and a number of others, and offered them for in the transition agenda construction. This agenda is part of the Netherlands Circular 2050, a program to make the Netherlands circular. According to the builders, movable dwellings, because they do not need to be demolished and reusable, can make a good contribution to the circular economy. The transition agenda will be presented on 15 January.
