Finch Buildings is looking for an assistant designer/BIM modeler HBO with a sustainable motivation.

Work:

Your work consists of architectural design and drawing and your work area covers both entire buildings and details in all phases of the construction process. You will work as a link between design and implementation, communicating clearly with contractors and other executing parties. With your architectural insight and experience, you will work largely independently on projects as an architectural designer.

Who we're looking for:

• Minimum of HBO education in the field of construction technology, possibly supplemented by relevant courses
• You have demonstrable experience and command of the 2D and 3D drawing program ArchiCAD
• Several years of work experience as an architectural draughtsman and/or designer at an architectural firm, contracting firm or engineering firm and/or experience in the field of project-based housing construction
• You have a good technical insight and knowledge of building regulations: the Dutch Buildings Decree, daylight/EPC calculations and fire safety
• You are enterprising and can work independently as well as part of a team
• You have great organizational and communication skills, attention to detail and know how to prioritize
• You not only have an affinity with architecture but can also design and think along in design solutions
• Good command of the Dutch and English languages
• Insight to communicate design choices to other parties
• You are flexible, employable in all phases of the design process and can quickly switch between projects.
• You can think beyond the boundaries of your own role
• And last but not least you have a positive attitude and enjoy your work!
